Together, the Alternative Medicine Center and the Integrated Pain Management Center are a unique facility that offers integrated pain management therapy. Traditional pain management is offered along with a wide variety of complementary therapies. - The Center offers all known traditional methods of pain management such as; trigger point injections, nerve blocks, and epidural blocks. All blocks are performed at the center except in special cases where blocks have to be performed in a hospital or a surgery center. We may combine these techniques with Acupuncture, Auricular Medicine and Homeopathy as needed. - Studies and clinical experience have proven that by combining traditional pain management with these alternative therapies the treatment outcome is greatly enhanced. Because Acupuncture and Homeopathy stimulate the body’s defense against diseases, they treat the cause of pain rather than suppressing the symptoms. In addition to these services our professional affiliates provide a wide variety of supportive treatments which include: myotherapy, psychotherapy, bio-feedback, clinical hypnosis, and medical massages among others.
